The Oompah Roundabouts 4th video out now!

The Oompah Roundabout's 4th video, out now!

The Oompah Roundabout's 4th music video is out and up on their uTube channel!
It's to their latest record entitled "Breed with you".
A fast paced song recorded in their Home recording studio ( gap central recording studio ) and once
again sent over to the USA to be mixed and mastered by their good friend Mark S at the Wave Shop.
This is the first song to be recorded in the studio live room since the boy's revamp accoustic treatment
was carried out.
The video was shot in their home film studio ( Halfanacker film studio ) with editting being carried out at
Drummer Windy Wobbles edditting studio and also at Guitarist, Hormones Howe's Halfanacker film studio.
The boy's had some fun adding a bit of 1960s psychodalia to the clip and took an anything go's approach, using layer's of colour and visuals!
The video is a big jump forward as the oompah's learn more and more of what can be done and are
already planning their next 2 video's to their next 2 releases before christmas.
They are planning a steady release of records in the new year and also hope to take the Oompah
beat on the road.
All their records are available for download at :

Ingrid Michaelson,"Be OK"

Ingrid Michaelson,"Be OK"

Album Notes
As the Hotel Café became a nationally recognized launching pad for songwriters in 2008, Ingrid Michaelson stood out amongst the venue\'s native artists, having already established her credibility through licensing deals and MySpace playbacks. Her second independent release, Girls and Boys, made waves one year prior when it toppled the iTunes charts, eventually selling over 740,000 digital copies of its lead single thanks to promotional help from Old Navy commercials and Grey\'s Anatomy episodes. Arriving in 2008, Be OK furthers her Norah Jones-gone-pop approach with 11 tracks. This isn\'t a proper studio effort -- rather, it\'s a benefit project (with proceeds going to cancer research) that takes its material from live performances, rarities, and several new tracks. Filled with handclaps and breezy guitar chords, \"Be OK\" is the album\'s flagship song as it bookends the set list with two different versions -- one filled with harmonies, keyboards, and percussion, and the other sticking close to the acoustic formula. Michaelson\'s voice is strong enough to carry such tracks alone, but her melodies sound strongest when flanked by buoyant harmonies, whether they\'re provided by the singer\'s own double-tracked voice or contributions from her touring bandmates. \"The Chain,\" a longtime live favorite and perhaps the best song on this disc, even careens into an emotional three-person round, utilizing the harmony approach better than any Michaelson track since \"The Way I Am.\" She leads the pack, advising her estranged lover to \"glide away on soapy heels\" while her melodies are echoed by Bess Rogers and Allie Moss. It\'s a simple song, but its passion and presentation make all the difference -- a telltale sign of a songwriter who knows how to breathe new life into a veteran genre.

Home recording studio, pT 2

                                                       Home recording studio PT 2.
The Oompah Roundabout were at it again yesterday! ( 12-6-14 ) Recording the lead break and re-recording the rythum guitar for their next single.
They have also decided to re-record the bass guitar after noticing some unwanted click sounds yesterday while putting down the lead. All this is the norm as on the first few listens, some things are not picked up. The boy's try to keep editing down and just replay the track, they say it's more fun than clicking a mouse!
I'll keep you posted on their progress so stay tuned.         http://www.theoompahroundabout.com/

Nirvana.

                                                                          Nirvana.

Nirvana was an American rock band formed by singer/guitarist Kurt Cobain and bassistKrist Novoselic in Aberdeen, Washington in 1987. Nirvana went through a succession of drummers, the longest-lasting being Dave Grohl, who joined the band in 1990. Despite releasing only three full-length studio albums in their seven-year career, Nirvana has come to be regarded as one of the most influential and important rock bands of the modern era.

In the late 1980s Nirvana established itself as part of the Seattle grunge scene, releasing its first album Bleach for the independent record label Sub Pop in 1989. The band eventually came to develop a sound that relied on dynamic contrasts, often between quiet verses and loud, heavy choruses. After signing to major label DGC Records, Nirvana found unexpected success with "Smells Like Teen Spirit", the first single from the band's second albumNevermind (1991). Nirvana's sudden success widely popularized alternative rock as a whole, and the band's frontman Cobain found himself referred to in the media as the "spokesman of a generation", with Nirvana being considered the "flagship band" ofGeneration X.  Nirvana's third and final studio album, In Utero (1993), featured an abrasive, less-mainstream sound and challenged the group's audience. The album did not match the sales figures of Nevermind but was still a critical and commercial success. Nirvana's brief run ended following the death of Kurt Cobain in 1994, but various posthumous releases have been issued since, overseen by Novoselic, Grohl, and Cobain's widow Courtney Love.

Since its debut, the band has sold over 25 million records in the United States alone, and over 75 million records worldwide, making them one of the best-selling music artists in history. Four of their albums, two studio and two live, have reached the number one spot on the Billboard 200 chart. In the years since the band's breakup, Nirvana has been ranked highly on several lists by various publications as one of the greatest artists of all time.Rolling Stone described Nirvana's influence as having "kicked in" the 1990s as a musical era,   adding that their music "guaranteed the nineties would not suck,"   and claimed that the band "transformed rock for a generation."   According to the magazine, "few bands in rock history have had a more immediate and tangible impact on their contemporary pop musical landscape than Nirvana did in the early Nineties."

Nirvana is set to be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2014, the band's first year of eligibility; the museum's biography of the band states that Nirvana "start[ed] a rock revolution" and "remain an enduring influence and challenge", before declaring them "proof that the right band with the right noise can change the world."

The Oompah Roundabouts new video clip!!!

                                              The Oompah Roundabouts video clip!!!
The Oompah Roundabouts new video clip is out! filmed last saturday night ( 07-12-13) in one long and funny session! The boys from the Rockingham/Kwinana area about 30mins south of Perth, Western Australia, as with Recording, use a do it yourself approach to filming! Not knowing much about film making, (what they do know they get from uTube!) isn't stopping them from having a crack!
Most of the backgrounds for this vid were shot around their local area. All filming was done using an iphone and 2 ipads! The vid was, as with The Wibble Wobble clip was! compiled and edited using iMovie!
Not that they wish to be seen promoting Apple products free of charge, and they arn't getting paid to either! But more so want others to know what can be done with out spending HUGE amounts of money on hiring someone to do it for you, or buying exspensive filming eqiupment! Both clips were made using green screens ( green bed sheets pegged up! HAHA) and to anyone who knows about green-screening  their are obious floors in their method! (sheets not dark enough in green colour!)
Hormone and Windy Wobble tell me the sheets are already being dyed a greener green for the next clip!
So it's finaly out!!! The clip to their second single, "I want a girl ( my own age )"
The uTube link will be at the bottom of this post!!!
The Oompah Roundabout are self funded! 100% indie!

itunes / cdbaby.com / Amazon mp3 /  google play / and they can be streamed on jango / shazam / slacker radio / spotify / Omnifone / Tripple j unearthed / and any other download and streaming sites.
